This first week of February has been beautiful. We took advantage of it and enjoyed a picnic lunch and playtime outside. Our color of the month is red and heart is our shape of the month. We did some red heart handprints, traced hearts, and colored hearts red. K was our letter of the week. We did a king craft and made a kitty out of hearts. At story time we read Porcupine Valentine, Kangaroo Kazoo, and Gregory’s shadow. At circle time we talked about if groundhogs see their shadow we will have six more weeks of winter. We also sang a groundhog song.
