Hello Parents!
We have been very busy in our 2’s class the last week of September. Our letters these last two have been E, and F. The children have learned all about Ellie Elephant, Francy Fish and the sounds the letters make. We have talked about the number 2, painted yellow circles, and stamped the letters of the month. As we get to the letter of the children’s first name we tell this that this letter is your letter. (Example: E is for Eli, Ella, Emily and Evelyn; F is for Finley) We have worked on cleaning up the toys before Music, Fun and Fitness and walking in a line with a cloth rope. (Some days are great and some are not!) They will have this skill down by the end of the year.
At circle time each day we sing our “Hello” song, go over the calendar, sing a song about the days of the week, and talk about our letters, numbers, and the weather. The children enjoy Ms. Lauren reading to them at snack and lunch. We love asking them about their day and school. They are also learning to put their cup up after snack and lunch.
We have had our first Chapel. We talked about Noah’s Ark, sang songs, and danced.
