Hello Parents,

The last two weeks of October seemed to have flown by with our busy little bees! LCLC had its own version of The Pumpkin Patch and Harvest Party, with lots of activities in our classroom. We visited Mrs. Straw (Scarecrow) aka Ms. Amy where she walked us through the life cycle of a pumpkin. The children were able to pick out their very own pumpkins to decorate in the classroom. While at our pumpkin patch we listened to books, sang songs and ate a special snack. So much fun! Later that day back in the classroom (Thanks to the momma’s from our 3’s class) we had a ton of fun playing in sensory bins. They had corn, beans, rice, noodles, and Marvel Beads to explore with seasonal items hiding inside. The kids had a blast!

The Harvest Party was superb with Chick-fil-A nuggets, little pumpkins (Made up of mandarin oranges with celery sticks) and juice for lunch. Once finished, we then decorated and ate sugar cookies. A big thank you to the party mommas Amanda and Annie (Emily and Finley’s mommas) for all their help! We were so happy to see all of the parents that were able to attend.

Love and Prayers,

Ms. Sondra
