Hello Parents,

The children had such a fun month in school as we learned all about the Thanksgiving holiday and what it means to be “thankful” for all that we have. Some of the conversations during circle time about the Pilgrims and the Indians and their journey to the land of America were priceless! We made some great projects to reinforce what they had been taught as you are well aware. And boy, did they work hard on them! They learned that even the little pilgrim boys and girls had to work hard to survive in their new home and how much help the Indians were as friends. We discussed how friends help each other and how thankful we should be for friends and family.

The children enjoyed their little Thanksgiving breakfast and a BIG thanks goes out to the moms who organized it for us!  In addition to Pilgrims and Indians, the children had plenty of time to just play with each other and be kids. Please look at the pictures below highlighting our month. There’s everything from playing, crafting, learning new alphabet letters and our Thanksgiving feast! Enjoy!!

As we roll into Christmas season and all of its busyness, Jess and I are going to be talking about Jesus’ birthday and about how it is more important to give than to receive (a hard concept for little people!). We will also be explaining that the greatest gift ever given to us was God’s son, Jesus. I pray that you all have a calm, healthy and smooth month of December and look forward to spending more time with your precious children. Love them tons!

Blessings!

Ms. Kim
