Our last unit of November was Pilgrims and Native Americans. The Pilgrims came over on the Mayflower, which we colored. The Native Americans lived in Tee-pees, which we did a craft of. Indians showed the Pilgrims how to grow food, so we made a pumpkin out of beads and stamped corn. They had the first Thanksgiving together which we read about in The Littlest Pilgrim and The First Thanksgiving. We also did a gumball machine craft for the letter G and read Gorilla, Be Good! Since December was only a day away, we did a Christmas Tree STEM activity.
