The letter C. We learned about creation, counting, cats and learned about the life cycle of the caterpillar to butterfly. We made clouds with paint and then guessed what each cloud looked like. We learned to write the letter C which is one big curve. The letter C will help us write many of our upcoming letters. We often call it the magic C.
We read Who stole the Cookies, Cupcake, Clara Caterpillar, Little Cloud and Corduroy. We continue our counting skills, counting by 1’s, 5’s and 10’s to 100.
Letter O
We learned about Owls, Octopus, Cats and opposites. For our creation book we made owls. We learned that owls are nocturnal which means they are active at night. Owls have a flat face and large eyes.
To write our letter O we make a big curve down and a big curve up. Our ZooPhonic for the letter O is Olive the Octopus. We read Olive The Octopus, Owl Moon, A turkey for Thanksgiving, The Very Stuffed Turkey and I am Thankful. We had fun guessing what our Tom the Turkey was disguised as then we guessed who made each Tom the Turkey. We also spent time making a few crafts for Thanksgiving.
