Hello Parents!
We have been very busy in our 2’s class the first two weeks of October. Our letters have been U and T. The children have learned all about Umber Umbrellabird, Timothy Tiger and the sounds the letters make. We have talked about the number 3, colored a pumpkin sheet orange, and made a square with orange. We glued orange squares. We continue to work on cleaning up the toys before Music, Fun and Fitness and before going outside.
At circle time each day we sing our “Hello” song, go over the calendar, sing a song about the days of the week, and talk about our letters, numbers, and the weather. In addition we have been learning about Community Helpers and Farm animals. At circle time we used animal magnets to make a chart. We had to figure out which animals belonged on a farm and which ones lived in the wild.
In Chapel we have been learning about Joseph, his coat of many colors, and his struggles (being thrown in a pit and then being sold into slavery)
Ms. Lauren and I are enjoying getting to know your children and watching them grow. We love having your children in our class.
