October has been a fun month in K-5!  The Fire Department visited us at the beginning of the month.  Hudson read The Very Hungry Caterpillar to the class.  We visited Mrs. Straw’s Pumpkin Patch, and the children got to pick a pumpkin while learning about the pumpkin life cycle.  Today we painted pumpkins and had our Harvest Celebration.  Thanks to Amanda Berndt, Melanie Ulm, and Anne Cason for making this a special celebration.  Anne’s father made wooden pumpkins for everyone.  They were so cute!  I can’t believe November is here and Thanksgiving is around the corner.  We have enjoyed fall and lots of learning with our sweet class.
