The letters we worked on were A and R. We made a rooster and rocket craft. We also did an apple craft and did some apple stamping. We had a visit from kids teeth and got to see a really awesome puppet show. We got the chance to take a big toothbrush and brush a dinosaur’s teeth. We had some guest readers come in and read The Littlest Cloud and make a cloud using cotton balls. For our nursery rhyme unit we made Baa Baa Black Sheep and read a few different rhymes at circle time. At story time we read The Adventures of Abby Alligator and Rosie Rabbit’s Radish. To celebrate President’s Day we made a cool flag and each picked out our favorite room in the white house.
