And yet another month of school comes to an end! As always, the children and I were very busy with all of our new letters, numbers, continuing to “sit still” during circle time, playing with our friends and traveling to and from Music, Fun and Fitness, Spanish and Chapel! They keep up with all of it (sometimes better than we do be honest)! The kids learned the bible verse so well they could actually perform it (along with the motions) alongside the teacher!
“Love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your mind. And love your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27 :0)
We had a visit from a local Mount Pleasant dentist, “Kid’s Teeth”, learned quite a bit about our teeth and just how important they are to our lives. Everything from eating to brushing twice a day and flossing. We talked about how important brushing was and that teeth would turn yellow over time. White and clean is the only way to go! We took this opportunity to explain that God gave us our bodies and our minds to make good choices with. To do good to others and to love on them no matter what. That’s what Jesus would’ve done.
We spent a good deal of time playing in the classroom and out on the playgrounds because the weather has just been amazing! I am convinced that winter is officially gone for 2018 – 2019! :0)
I have enjoyed spending such quality time with your children. They are gifts from God and we are SO blessed to have an opportunity to touch their little lives, even if for a short season. Please enjoy the few pictures below!
