November is all about being thankful. We are thankful for birds, so we took seeds and made a bird feeder to hang outside our window. We are thankful for trees, so we did a stem activity and used classroom materials to build an apple tree. We are thankful for our families, and to show them we made a handprint thanksgiving card to give them. We are thankful for all the wonderful things God made, so we wrote it down on our thankful turkey. Brown is our color of the month, and we used it to paint our turkeys. Rectangle is our shape of the month, so we made a rectangle city craft. At story time we read Bear Says Thanks and The Night Before Thanksgiving.
