Hello Parents and Families!

Happy New Year to you all and warm wishes from Jess and I. I have pictures galore and stories to go with each and every one of them. Your children have been wonderful and have filled us, as adults, with more Christmas spirit and love of Jesus than any book, event or production we could read or attend. The month was amazing and the lessons and conversations even more so! We continued to learn our letters and numbers as always. We played in the “snow” with a parachute and even collected snowflakes at Music, Fun and Fitness!  Made gifts for our families, lots of fun crafts, reindeer food for Christmas Eve and talked a lot of the Christmas Story with Joseph, Mary, the donkey, the inn and the lack of room for them all. Jess reenacted the story with toy animals, a baby doll and our Fisher Price barn. They loved it! We talked about giving versus receiving and about how Jesus gave to us all throughout His life. Even to the point of coming into the world to give us life everlasting!  Our Christmas party was lots of fun! Thank you to Legare’s mommy, Tammy and daddy, Dusty (and Tammy’s mom too). We had special treats for lunch…chicken nuggets  made by “Grandmommy”, Grinch Fruit Kabobs, and snowman cheese sticks. Dessert was chocolate covered pretzels the most fun of all was singing carols with Mr. Dusty and his guitar. The pictures were great!  The angel necklace craft was great as well and right on their “artistic” level!  A huge thanks for such a festive party!   Here are some photos from the month and I hope you enjoy them.

Love,

Ms. Kim
