Wacky Wednesday was wacky and fun! The room was transformed: furniture and play centers were upside down;there were snowmen on our walls; there were shoes hanging on walls, the ceiling..everywhere! Toys and hats hung from the ceiling! Artwork and the numbers on our calendar were upside down too. The children were delighted to run around the room looking for everything that was ‘wacky’. And their outfits were the wackiest thing of all!!! We read The Cat in the Hat and enjoyed an amazing puppet show from Becky’s Box of Puppets. She retold classic Nursery Rhyme stories using her beautiful, handmade puppets. Her show was a treat for all of us! Ms. Vanessa made a special “green eggs and ham” treat for us as well, which we enjoyed when we read the book. It’s been an awesome week – we are so excited to celebrate Dr. Seuss with the children.
