The end of October was a busy time.  At circle time we talked about all the different things that we could make out of apples.  We took a poll to see who would rather eat a red or green apple (more would rather have a red apple).  A cut apple was passed around so we could see all the different parts.  At story time we read Apple Picking Day and Apples and Pumpkins.  For an activity we did apple stamping.  We had a Fall Harvest activity morning.  A mom make some awesome sensory tubs and a grandma who was visiting read us a story.  A big thank you to them for everything.  We loved it.  Ms. Amy the scarecrow welcomed us to her pumpkin patch.  We learned about the stages of a pumpkin, sang songs, listened to a story, had a yummy snack, and got to pick out a pumpkin of our own.  Our class also made a class pumpkin with our fingerprints.  We worked on the letter H with a hot air balloon craft and read the book Hide-and-Seek Hippo.  For Orange (our color of the month) we painted a pumpkin and made a Christian jack-o-lantern.
