It has been a busy December in K-5!  What a fun time to study the 5 senses!  We have smelled, tasted, and touched candy canes and gingerbread cookies.  We became scientists when we placed a candy cane in vinegar and watched the stripes and then the candy cane disappear.  The children have been busy making ornaments with Miss Molly and Miss Eileen.  We learned about maps and followed our gingerbread man around the world.  We have continued to work on our letters and numbers.  The children have made so much progress since September!  It has been so rewarding to listen to the children practice their lines for our Christmas program.  We are excited about retelling “Christmas in the Manger” and remembering that Jesus is the reason for the season.  Everyone enjoyed our pajama day.  Merry Christmas to all of our K-5 families!
