Happy Easter! April showers bring May flowers.
Our theme is Jesus Brings New Life.
Our Bible verse – This is how we know what love is…Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.- 1 John3:16
Our units are Easter, Springtime/Gardening, and Pond Life.
Handwriting– We are still working on last names. Our letters are S, A, I, and T. We only have one letter left!
Reading- We will be reading the Easter story and some books about animals that live in ponds. Two of these books are Make Way for Ducklings and Anasi Goes Fishing. We will review all letters and their sounds.
Math– We continue to work in our workbooks on writing numbers, counting, addition/subtraction, money, and time. We continue to count by 5’s and 10’s and will begin counting by 2’s.
Science– We will study gardening and planting. We will also study the life cycle of a frog.
