Our Multi-age Kindergarten program is designed for children who are 5 years of age by Sept. 1, 2016, as well as older fours that miss the age requirement date and need more of a challenge than what our regular 4-K program offers. Some of these students graduate and go on to first grade and others go to a full-day kindergarten program after graduation. All students are taught at the higher level and each child works at his/her own pace. We have 1 kindergarten class with a maximum of 16 students and 2 teachers. This class meets from 9:00-12:30 Monday-Friday. The children in this class are learning sight words and beginning to read. They are diving into Math with lots of games and interactive activities. Science and Social Studies are being taught daily. Our K-5 classroom is equipped with a smart board and what a great learning tool it is for our students! Multi-age Kindergarten students participate in Music, Fun, and Fitness class, Spanish class, and Chapel each week.
