Maleia joined the LCLC staff in 2021 and loves working with our 2 and 3-year-olds. Maleia's students are immediately drawn to her and her favorite place to be is on the floor playing with them. After assisting in the 2, 3, and 4-year-old programs, she is stepping up to the well-deserved role of Lead Teacher in the Young Twos class and the 3 Day Threes class. She is originally from Wisconsin and moved to Charleston 17 years ago. She and her husband, Kyle have been married for 11 years and have two children, Lincoln (13) and Collins (10). She loves spending time outdoors, especially with her family. She also enjoys reading, baking, playing games and putting puzzles together. Maleia says, "I just love being a member of the LCLC staff and getting to see the kids excited to come in every day is just awesome. It is amazing how much the grow and learn!
