Four’s Program

All children entering our fours program must be four years of age by Sept. 1. We have 3 classes of four-year-olds with a maximum number of 15 students and 2 teachers in each class. This program is very kindergarten preparatory and meets either Monday-Thursday (2 classes) or Monday-Friday (1 class). They attend school from 9:00 AM-1 PM and bring a lunch to eat at school. Our 4-year-old program challenges each student to meet their full potential to ensure that they are prepared to enter Kindergarten. Our teachers and director work closely with staff/consultant from our local elementary school who keeps us informed of exactly where our 4-K students need to be when they graduate. We are constantly reevaluating our curriculum and bringing new things in to enhance our curriculum in order to promote creativity and problem solving skills.  Our classrooms include smart board technology along with play-based and teacher directed center time.  Zoo Phonics and Handwriting Without Tears curricula are used as well in every day learningl.  K-4 students participate in Music, Fun, and Fitness class, Spanish class, and Chapel each week.
