The first two weeks of March went by in a blur! We celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday, learned about the letters M and N, read Nursery rhymes, did crafts and played with magnets.. We read “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish”, made our own fish and even had snack to go along with! Dr. Seuss’ books are timeless and they are a great way to get kids engaged in reading with rhyming words, silly themes and bright pictures. The BEST part of the first two weeks of March was Ms. Jess’ return to school and to the kid’s lives! W got to play with magnets and see what they will and won’t stick to…..lots of fun and one of Ms. Jess’ favorite sciences things. :0)

We have continued to review our letters, trace them and practice the sounds they make. The children love to sing the “Where do you start your letters?” song (with sticks) that tells us to always start our letters at the top. They are doing a great job grasping this concept!

We love your children and are SO blessed to be their teachers.
