Lead Teacher, Multi-age Kindergarten
Nancy grew up in Charleston and lives in Mt. Pleasant with her husband Geoff and their two daughters, Maggie - 18 and Elizabeth - 12. Maggie will be leaving the nest and starting Appalachian State College this fall and Elizabeth will be a seventh grader at Moultrie Middle School. Nancy is a graduate of the College of Charleston with a BA degree in English and a graduate of The Citadel with a MAT degree in secondary English education. She taught high school English in Berkeley County for eight years and at Palmetto Christian Academy for two years. Nancy is a member of St. Andrews Church and loves the fellowship and teaching they provide. She loves teaching, children, and her Lighthouse family. When she is not busy with her girls, Nancy enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She is looking forward to her ninth year at Lighthouse, as well as loving and teaching her precious K-5 students.
