Lead Teacher, Multi-age Kindergarten
Nancy grew up in Charleston and lives in Mt. Pleasant with her husband Geoff and their two daughters, Maggie - 21 and Elizabeth - 15. Maggie is a senior at Appalachian State College pursuing a degree in Sociology and Elizabeth will be a sophomore at Lucy Beckham High School. Nancy is a graduate of the College of Charleston with a BA degree in English and a graduate of The Citadel with a MAT degree in secondary English education. She taught high school English in Berkeley County for eight years and at Palmetto Christian Academy for two years. Nancy is a member of St. Andrews Church and loves the fellowship and teaching they provide. She loves teaching, children, and her Lighthouse family. When she is not busy with her girls, Nancy enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She is looking forward to her eleventh year at Lighthouse, as well as loving and teaching her precious K-5 students.
