Tara was raised in Rhode Island and graduated from Rhode Island College in 2000 with a teaching degree in Art Education and a bachelor degree of arts in Metalsmithing and Jewelry design. Tara has been married to her husband, Corey for 18 years. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom to her two children, Riley (14) and Jack (11) she worked as an art teacher and provided therapeutic support to children with special needs. She has a great passion for working with children and loves helping each child grow into confident learners. Lighthouse was the first school her son attended after moving to Mt Pleasant 7 years ago so it holds a very special place in her heart. She looks forward to providing the same support to the new families at LCLC.
